Bartenders & Servers are and integral part of our Food & Beverage Team. As such we are looking for the highest level of customer service and hospitality.

Requirements:
– Must have food & beverage service experience.
– Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
– Ability to handle money & operate a point-of-sale system.
– Must be able to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining quality service.

Security Guard

MUST be available to work evenings & weekends. Full & Part time available. This position is responsible to maintain the safety of staff, volunteers, patrons and assets. To uphold the integrity of gaming as well as the AGLC regulations, while offering outstanding customer service. Customer service skills a must. Security experience an asset. Must be a team player, and posses a calm professional manner.

Requirements:
– Must be at least 18 years of age.
– Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
– Must be able to read, write and speak clear & proficient English.
– Must have a clear RCMP criminal records check.
– AGLC registration (upon hire).
– AGLC Smart Training (upon hire).
– Government issue ID, Permanent resident card, passport and/or birth certificate.

Duties (but not limited to):
– Customer relations.
– Escorting of patron/chips/cash.
– Building/staff/volunteer/patron safety checks.
– Report writing/note taking.
– Knowledge and understanding of the AGLC Casino Terms & Conditions.
– Understanding and knowledge of AGLC Liquor Laws.
– Liaison/communicate with, but not limited to, RCMP, outside security, AGLC, Security Manager, General Manager, staff, volunteers and patrons.

Security Manager

We have a Full time opportunity available for the Manager of SECURITY & SURVEILLANCE based in Fort McMurray, AB.

Qualifications:

· 3 – 5 years experience in law enforcement, casino or retail security
· 2 years in a supervisory or management role
· Gaming experience preferred but not mandatory
· Technical ability including knowledge of CCTV systems and digital recording
systems
· Organizational, leadership, communication and hospitality skills
· AGLC Smart Training

Details of Position:

· Staffing decisions
· Anti-Money Laundering Liaison
· Training, Education and development of staff
· Routine procedures/policy review
· Facility Emergency and Contingency Planning
· OHS key position
· Liaise with AGLC, Police as required
· Report writing and review
· Internal audits
· Creating and operating within budgetary guidelines
· Overseeing enforcement of policies and procedures both internal and external

The Manager of Security will be required to work a variety of hours including
nights and weekends, and must submit to an extensive due diligence investigation by the AGLC. This includes financial, credit and criminal history.

Financial Clerk/Liquor Controller

The Financial clerk/Liquor Controller is an integral part of the operations of the Casino. This is an early morning 6 am shift that requires specific in house training as well as AGLC licensing. The expectation is to retain long term reliable part time staff to be part of our Rivers Casino Family!

– Must understand, speak & read English fluently.
– Must be able to work with and count money efficiently Computer skills a must: Microsoft – email, excel spreadsheet and data entry knowledge required.
